CSMC History Phd Work in Progress Seminar Series: Friday 30 September If you are a history postgrad who is nervous about presenting your research in front of an audience, or worried about how to go about writing and structuring a presentation then help is at hand. The CSMC History Phd in Progress Seminar Series provides a forum for History postgrads to present their research in a conference-like setting, minus all the pressure. On the last Friday of each month (in Rm 2.36, 17.00) two speakers present their research for 20 minutes, followed by a Q&A. It's a chance to develop presentation skills, experiment with new approaches and techniques in a safe space, receive constructive feedback on your work and hear about the work of other history postgrads. If you would like to present a paper, please get in touch with Fraser Raeburn, stating your preferred month and expected title and topic. Please note that both ‘Modern’ and ‘Conflict’ very loosely defined and research covering just about any instance of minor disagreement across the centuries is welcome.
