HTML There is always something going on in Classics at Edinburgh, whether it is the weekly Classics research seminar, informal reading groups, international conferences or trips abroad. All this makes for a lively and friendly community in which to study and talk. In addition to our regular staff, every two years sees the arrival of a Leventis Visiting Professor, one of whose duties is to host a major conference. Classics research seminars: a forum for the exchange of ideas and the promotion of new research and debate among the research community, both within and outside the University. All welcome. Classics Postgraduate Seminar Series: a weekly seminar series featuring postgraduate students from Edinburgh and further afield delivering 40 minute research papers, followed by a Q&A.
