The largest of the School’s three subject-areas, History has over 50 full-time academics involved in undergraduate teaching. Claire A History and Politics student from Scotland, Claire is a competitive cheerleader. Her competing allows her to travel the UK and Europe and she also coaches younger athletes. Josh Josh is a History and Politics students. When I’m not dreaming of illuminated manuscripts, he can be found in a bookshop or up a hill, but generally not at the same time. If there were a twenty-fifth hour in the day, Josh would use it to improve my Gaelic, or dip into some Latin too (for the manuscripts…). Georgia Originally from Athens, Georgia loves to read, drink coffee, and bake bread. You'll find her spending all her time (and money) in Edinburgh coffee shops and second hand bookstores. Georgia is currently in her fourth year of studying History. Sophia Sophia is a History and Economics student who likes walking through the streets of Edinburgh. She can often be found reading in a coffee shop or singing in the University choir. Olivia Originally from a town called Midlothian in Texas, named after Midlothian Scotland, Olivia is a second year History student. A medievalist at heart, who also likes to knit and crochet, take walks in Holyrood park, and drink an obscene amount of tea.
