Gender Equalities at 50 A new project traces the first comprehensive interdisciplinary history of the Equal Pay Act 1970 and Sex Discrimination Act 1975 (now integrated for GB in the Equality Act 2010) across the UK. Earliest known animal carvings in Scotland discovered Scotland’s Rock Art Project, including staff from the School of History, Classics and Archaeology, examined the carvings to confirm their authenticity. Linking 'Rising from the Depths' and the Honor Frost Foundation Funding from the Honor Frost Foundation will create two posts at the University of Edinburgh – a three year PhD position and a two-year Post-Doctoral position, including the Honor Frost Scholar in Marine Cultural Heritage.
