New project seeks insights into overseas student experience

A new project, 'Enhancing International Student Experience', aims to understand the experience of overseas postgraduate students.

Dr Wendy Ugolini, Postgraduate Director for the School of History, Classics and Archaeology, and research assistant Alexandra Huang launched the PTAS-funded project, 'Enhancing International Student Experience' in September 2021.

Focus-group interviews have been conducted to glean insight into the experience of PGT and PGR Overseas students from a culturally diverse background.

This five-month project aims to assess the School’s approach to, and identify appropriate structures for, academic and pastoral support for overseas PG student community within the Graduate School and share best-practice across College and the University.
