Personal information

The University holds information about everyone who applies for a post, including information provided about your availability. We use and hold the information you provide in order to administer any allocation of work, to assess if you are eligible to apply, to maintain our IT and record system, to arrange contracts and any payment for work completed, to provide you with support, to monitor equal opportunities, to ensure that we can communicate with you regarding your employment or position within the School, to gather feedback, and for strategic planning.

If you do not have an existing GH contract with HCA for tutoring or demonstrating please note any offer of employment can only be made once an application has been received, eligible candidates interviewed, references contacted and a Right to Work check undertaken.

Tutoring and Demonstrating needs fluctuate from year to year, so we may not be able to offer you your preferred, or any hours.

Full-time postgraduate research students must work no more than an average of 9 hours per week across the academic year.
