Medieval Dumfries & Galloway Image The Late Antique & Medieval Postgraduate Society (LAMPS) seeks to bring students and staff from Schools across the university together to explore the Late Antique and Medieval world. This event combines a trip and a seminar, moving the discussion from the classroom to a collegiate church, a castle, and a parish church (home to the Anglo-Saxon Ruthwell Cross). This trip will provide students and staff an opportunity to participate in mini-seminars that are aimed at exploring Scotland’s medieval history through surviving art and architecture in Dumfries and Galloway.
