Infertility in History, Science and Culture

Co-convened by Dr Gayle Davis, Senior Lecturer in the History of Medicine and Dr Tracey Loughran from Cardiff University, the symposium will explore the history of infertility, and the place of infertility in science and culture.

Perspectives on infertility

Dr Davis says:

“The event will bring together researchers from different disciplines - social scientific, literary, feminist, psychological and legal- to better understand historical and contemporary representations and experiences of infertility across different cultures and from different perspectives”.
