The History of History at the University of Edinburgh

History has been taught at the University of Edinburgh since its foundation in 1583.

Writer and broadcaster Owen Dudley Edwards, who is an Honorary Fellow of the School of History, Classics and Archaeology, will give a talk on The History of History at the University of Edinburgh, 5pm, Wednesday 27 March 2013.

The event, which is free, will take place in Teviot Lecture Theatre, Old Medical School.

The lecture will be filmed for inclusion in the School’s new online MSc History programme.

Mr Edwards is always a popular speaker, so booking is recommended.
