Online Postgraduate Information Session

We are running a final online information session for all prospective postgraduate students interested in joining us in September, whether you are yet to apply, have made an application or hold an offer.

The session will broadly cover our taught and research programmes in History, Classics and Archaeology as well as our online MSc in History. You will hear about our teaching, facilities, and programme structures. We will also have time dedicated for questions.

The aim of the session is to leave you with a real insight into what it’s like to be a student here in Edinburgh. We’ll give you access to reading lists, tell you about the resources on our doorstep, and demonstrate the opportunities open to you as student of the School of History, Classics and Archaeology.

The online information session will run between 4pm and 5pm BST on Wednesday 3 July.

The information session will be hosted by Dr David Kaufman, Deputy Postgraduate Director in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology, Lecturer in History, and Co-Porgramme Director for our online MSc in History.

The session is delivered using Blackboard Collaborate. You will be able to participate in the session and ask questions via text chat. We encourage you to log in to the session 15 minutes before the session is due to start. We recommend Google Chrome browser for the best experience.

Should you have any difficulties please email is.helpline@ed.ac.uk (with Collaborate Ultra in the subject line). Alternatively, advice on how to use Blackboard Collaborate can be found here: Session preparation, checklist and FAQs.
