Wanted: thoughts and ideas about Innovative Learning Week

Over 90 students and staff from History, Classics and Archaeology rounded off Innovative Learning Week 2013 in historic style on Saturday, with a trip to Hadrian’s Wall.

Head of School, Professor Alvin Jackson, would like to thank everyone who took part in organising and attending all the excursions, seminars, workshops and film screenings which were on offer during the week.

The School is now inviting feedback, beginning with a short questionnaire for students. “This is the second Innovative Learning Week we have organised and, as with any initiative, evaluation is a fundamental part of the process,” says Professor Jackson.

“We would like all our students to share their views on this year’s programme and their ideas for events next year, whether they took part or not.

“Which events did you go to? What did you like most? Was there a particular reason, if you gave something a miss?

“Not least, do you have a great idea for innovative learning in 2014? Please tell us.”

The survey (below) should take no more than five minutes to complete and is open until 5pm on the 13th of March 2013.
