This talk considers how diverse kinds of stories work and why they matter. Storytelling in its various forms permeates our lives. New ideas from across the arts and sciences invite us to think again about how memories, emotions, bodies, and environments influence how we create and experience stories. By drawing on examples from a range of different genres – novels, plays and films – this talk will explore what storytelling does to our minds and selves. Join Dr Miranda Anderson, Honorary Fellow, online to find out more.
