Submissions can explore any idea relating to the theme, whether literal or metaphorical. Possible paper topics include, but are certainly not limited to: History of Emotions Individual or group identities Philosophical and theological ideas of emotions and the self The formation and expression of identity through texts, culture and art. Relationships and interactions between individuals and groups Letters and personal writing Depictions of the individual Presentations should be 20 minutes in length and are accompanied by 10 to 15 minutes of discussion and questions.
