CANCELLED - Call for Papers: Central Mediterranean Prehistory Seminar

Due to uncertainty about related social distancing in the UK over the next weeks and months realting to the ongoing Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation we have decided to cancel the Central Mediterranean Prehistory Seminar on 20th May. We are hoping to re-schedule it for May 2021 in Edinburgh.

This long-standing event aims to gather scholars working on prehistory in the Central Mediterranean in order to present their current research, exchange ideas and explore new research directions in an informal and friendly environment. Academics, post-docs, PhD students and independent scholars from the UK and overseas are welcome to attend and present papers or posters relevant to the field of prehistory of Italy, Corsica, Malta, the Eastern Adriatic coast, southern France, and Mediterranean areas of North Africa. The time frame is from the Palaeolithic to the Iron Age.

The seminar is usually in English but presentations or posters in Italian are also welcome. Early career researchers are particularly encouraged to submit proposals, and will be given priority if the programme is oversubscribed.

If you are interested in presenting your research (as either a 20-minute paper or a poster), please email a title and a 200-word abstract by 29 March 2020 to either Dr Guillaume Robin (guillaume.robin@ed.ac.uk) or Kirsty Lilley  (s1310314@sms.ed.ac.uk).

If you wish to attend this meeting, please confirm to Dr Guillaume Robin (guillaume.robin@ed.ac.uk) by the 10th of May for purposes of catering.
