Alumni Careers Event

The Creative Cultural Careers Festival is a week-long series of events organised by the University Career Service, beginning 3rd March.

Students can learn more about what life is like working in creative or cultural industries, get hints and tips on how to get in, and make contacts with industry professionals.

As part of this festival the School of History, Classics and Archaeology will host an alumni evening, on Wednesday 5th March from 18.00, where current students can meet and talk to recent graduates and find out more about their careers.

Event description

Alumni working in the areas of heritage, publishing, policy work and journalism will talk about their work and how their degree helped them get where they are today.

A drinks reception will follow allowing time for more informal chat with the guest speakers.

• Ben Thurman - Policy and Research Officer, Mentor UK

Event details

The event will take place on Wednesday, 5th March from 18.00 - 20.00 in the McEwan Hall Reception Room. Access is gained via the Old Medical School Quad, doorway 2, Teviot Place, EH8 9AG.

The event is open to all University of Edinburgh students, staff and alumni.
