19th Conference - Irish Historians in Britain

The University of Edinburgh is delighted to host the 19th Conference of Irish Historians in Britain, which is returning to Edinburgh in 2014 after thirty years.

Venue: University of Edinburgh's Pollock Halls

Held every two years and bringing together established scholars and research students working on Irish History, this is the UK's pre-eminent Irish History event.

The 2014 conference will focus on the theme 'Ireland, Scotland, Empire’. The opening address will be given by Professor Tom Devine.

Conference booking is now open until the 20th of June. Various fee options are available with bursaries for postgraduate students.

The conference will be held in the University’s Pollock Halls, adjacent to Arthur’s Seat.
