The University of Edinburgh is delighted to host the 19th Conference of Irish Historians in Britain, which is returning to Edinburgh in 2014 after thirty years. Image Date: Friday 27 June to Sunday 29 June 2014 Venue: University of Edinburgh's Pollock Halls Held every two years and bringing together established scholars and research students working on Irish History, this is the UK's pre-eminent Irish History event. The 2014 conference will focus on the theme 'Ireland, Scotland, Empire’. The opening address will be given by Professor Tom Devine.
