This public-facing cultural event explores the history of Chinese tea from a global perspective. The session will trace tea from its early origins in China to its role in global trade, reflecting on how it shaped connections between China and the wider world.

The talk will be followed by a live tea demonstration using traditional Chinese tea sets, along with a limited tasting experience for participants.
