Dr Frances Dow, Honorary Fellow in History, has been awarded the CBE in the New Years Honours List 2012. Dr Dow is honoured for her important and long-standing contribution to British-American relations through chairing the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission, which oversees the British Marshall Scholarships programme.
