(Published 2 December 2014) HTML The Annual Student Archaeology Conference is set to be held at the University of Edinburgh in June 2015. Image Event description The Annual Student Archaeology Conference (ASA) series was established with the aim of allowing students to share their innovative research and activities with one another and the wider discipline of archaeology. ASA believes strongly that integrating audiences allows a more comprehensive understanding and appreciation of the past. Students have traditionally cited a number of difficulties in attending conferences and being able to share their work with others. ASA provides a venue for students to gain experience of presenting at a conference, for an audience of peers, as well as take part in activities that will help prepare them for their careers. The main theme of this year’s conference is Developing Integrated Archaeology.
