What happens during Welcome Week?Welcome Week is a programme of events for new students which takes place the week before teaching commences. It marks the start of your time at Edinburgh; you will register for your courses, attend introductory sessions, explore the University and have the chance to meet fellow students. They will confirm your attendance (now know as start your studies) which is a required part of the registration process. For PGT students (MSc degree programmes), the Student Support Office will be in touch ahead of the start of semester with a link on further information on how to confirm attendance.
