The Centre hosts a seminar series which takes place throughout the academic year and is open to staff, students and the general public.

The Edinburgh Centre for Global History Graduate Research hub is a vibrant community that fosters collaboration and intellectual growth among postgraduate researchers in the School of History, Classics and Archaeology (HCA) at the University of Edinburgh. The hub is open to all postgraduate students within the school.

The Centre hosts the Annual Lecture in the History of Slavery, which has run since 2012. Each year a guest lecturer presents research that furthers our understanding of the history of slavery and its wider impacts.
